All Smiles with A2Z Scraplets & Flourish with a Bling

Hi everyone! Just a quick share from me today using lots of fabulous goodies from A2Z Scraplets & Flourish with a Bling.

I have used the A2Z Scraplets Kit which can be found here and is only $40!

IMG_3889

To decorate the background, I have used the A2Z Scraplets mask as a diamond in the centre and then in the four corners. I did not want the pattern to go to the edges but rather fade out so I have done it really roughly around the edges.

IMG_3892

I have then sprayed some Pink Bubblegum Dylusions Spray and dripped off to create a starburst. I had to dry each drip in between slightly but it was worth it. I have then sprayed with Yellow Dylusions and outlined with a marker.

IMG_3891

To decorate the chipboard title and butterfly, I have smeared some gesso onto my craft sheet and then stamped the chipboard pieces over to allow gradual rough amounts of the gesso to transfer over and create a cool texture. I have then sprayed with Dylusions Ink Sprays and outlined with some Black Crackle Paint roughly.

The Doily has been sprayed with Black Heidi Swapp Mist and followed by some Black Crackle Paint. I have then cut my Flourish with a Bling Flourishes to create this coold effect under my butterfly.

All the patterned paper is from Prima Firefly collection and has been distressed on the edges using Black Crackle Paint.

Well that is it from me today, come back tomorrow when I will announce the winner of my All tom Scrap (All About Scrap) RAK giveaway.

Until next time, happy scrapping!

Totally Love This Chickie – July A2Z Scraplets New Release

Are you here for my June/July Giveaway? Click here for more info after you have read this post of course :)

Hi everyone! So glad to have you here to share another fabulous layout using the new July Release gorgeous A2Z Scraplets chipboard. Checkout the first release blog post on the A2Z Scraplets Blog here and keep checking back here for more how tos from me.

tn_IMG_3341

To create this layout, I have used the fabulous papers and stickers from Echo Park Here & Now Collection along side some super cute My Minds Eye Enamel Dots, Heidi Swapp, Studio Calico & Pink Paislee Elements.

tn_IMG_3342

The awesome chipboard LOVE word was embossed using Tim Holtz Sizzix Embossing Folder and then painted using some Acrylic paints ombre style, followed by some inking with Ranger Black Archival Ink on the raised dots. I just love this title it is so fun and has so many possibilities.

tn_IMG_3343

Some doodling, layering and thickers added to the title then voila! She was finished and was a super quick layout because of the lack of paint mediums. The chipboard always dried really quickly with water based paints if you are sparing which is awesome.

One Heart, One Love, One Destiny – New A2Z Scraplets July Release Chipboard

Are you here for my June/July Giveaway? Click here for more info after you have read this post of course :)

Hi everyone! I am back today to share another fabulous new release chipboard from the awesome July A2Z Scraplets release. Check out the first release blog post here. I will be sharing my projects here on my blog also 1 at a time so keep checking back for the rest of my creations including how tos.

The layout I have to share today is titled One Heart, One Loev, One Destiny and is using the fabulous new A2Z Scraplets title “One Love One Heart One Destiny”. I have cut up the title to spread around my page and I have used the always fabulous, Maja Design papers for this layout and to create the background, I have added some texture paste over a Heidi Swapp Stencil and then done some random stamping using a Stampin Up Background Stamp and Ranger Coffee Archival Ink.

tn_IMG_3336

I decided that I wanted to cut some pretty elements out using my Silhouette Cameo so after choosing some fabulous cut files, I have cut out a gorgeous frame and some swirls and foilage with the Maja Design Papers. I also cut some banners and layered them together with a doily and did some machine stitching.

tn_IMG_3337

The chipboard title was simply covered with a thin layer of Gesso and then stamped with the Stampin Up Background stamp that was used for the background, using some Coffee Ranger Archival Ink.

tn_IMG_3338

To finish off this fabulously shabby layout, I have added some lace from Green Tara and other random lace I had in my stash, plus a tonne of fabulous Prima Marketing Flowers alongside some yummy Ingvild Blome Shabby Resin.

tn_IMG_3339

I have added some texture paste to the ends of the flower petals to help shabby them up a little more and then I decided to add all my sewing threads to the cluster.

tn_IMG_3340

I decided at the last minute to add some blue Tim Holtz Distress Ink to my Chipboard titles to help try make them pop more and I have done this simply with a wet paintbrush straight from the Distress Ink Pad.

Thanks so much for reading along and don’t forget to come back tomorrow for another new release share from A2Z Scraplets.

Until next time, happy scrapping!

Hi everyone! I am back to share a quick layout with you all today featuring a pic of my fabulous husband Joel.

To create this layout, I have used various Heidi Swapp papers from both the Sugar Chic collection and the No Limits Collection. I just adore Heidi’s ranges and I was so happy to be able to use some of the super girly range Sugar Chic in a more masculine way.

out for publication - Page 001

Now I never pretend to be very good at male themed layouts but I think I have done my hubby justice here with lots of manly features alongside bright colours and a ray of sunshine feel. To decorate the background, I have used the Harlequin Crafters Workshop Stencil with a mixture Teal Bombay India Ink and some Texture Paste. I also used the negative from 2 A2Z Scraplets cogs packs to add some cog shapes around the border and before they had a chance to dry, I have quickly sprinkled some Silver Micro Beads to add some metallic effect to the cogs. I still wasn’t 100% happy with the cogs so I have gone and coloured some A2Z Scraplets Cog Chipboard pieces using some Dylusions Ink Sprays and Perfect Pearls Mists. Gotta add some sparkle in there hehehe.

I wanted to add this fabulous A2Z Scraplets Starburst to the layout as well and decided I would layer it with lots of fun papers. I simply sprayed it with some Yellow Perfect Pearls Mist and allowed to dry before I stuck everything down and slotted the starburst in between layers.

tn_LoveYouAlwaysByAmyPrior3

Lots of final touches included some Heidi Swapp Buzz Words, Charms Creations Super Star along with some doodling and journalling. I also decided to add some washi tape and Heidi Swapp Phrase Stickers as well. Doesn’t it look fab? How awesome are Heidi’s product? She is definately an idol of mine. 🙂
